Courtney is a film critic and entertainment journalist who primarily writes for Variety. Her work has been published in The A.V. Club, IndieWire, The Wrap, SheKnows, and FreshFiction.tv. She’s a member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) and a Rotten Tomatometer-approved film critic. Born and raised in Northern California, she has loved Hollywood since seeing her first film in theatres at age 6 (‘E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial’). She now resides in Southern California with her screenwriter husband and perfect little dachshund.
